India is Incredible? - Day 0 (Part 2)

Assalamualaikum!!! 

Sedikit pemberitahuan kepada semua: Kebanyakan perkara yang berlaku dalam trip to India adalah tidak dirancang. Bila travel, aku nak selesa dan kalo sesuatu tu still murah dan affordable, I will say why not. There's nothing to prove to others on how I travel because this is me! I'm not trying to be someone that I'm not. Tak perlu nak wannabe sangat. No identity bak orang putih kata. Correct me if I'm wrong. 

Ok dah abes lempiaskan perasaan aku sendiri. Jom sambung Hari 0 kat India. 

Bila dah setel hal imigresen terus pegi amek beg. Tak tau nak bagitau camne perasaan time tu. Bercampur-baur dengan macam-macam. Adakah dah sampai India? Adakah kita kat Malaysia lagi? Betol ke dah kat India? Haaa...macam tu sekali. Actually, the initial plan was we gonna spend the night at the airport. Since, we landed in India almost midnight. This is my first time actually overnight at the airport. Hahah. Al-maklumlah.... travel secara anak jutawan. Mana mungkin nak tido kat airport yang lantai sejuk dan keras tu. Tak elok untuk badan ok. Kang tak sampai 40-an dah sakit-sakit sendi. Tak gitu Doktor Shah_rule? 

Menuju ke arrival hall. Perghh bukan main ramai orang dah duk tunggu dengan sighboard masing mempunyai nama penumpang. Terasa macam VVIP pulak. Tapi apakan daya, none of that is ours. Hahah. Maka berlalu pergi menuju ke port yang diberitahu oleh one of my friends. Dekat dengan premium lounge. Ada kerusi kat situ depan prepaid taxi counter. Tak besar pun arrival hall kat airport India ni. Tapi jangan risau, bersih je. Takde peminta sedekah lalu-lalang mintak duit sebabnya mereka yang mempunyai tiket yang sah sahaja dibenarkan memasuki kawasan airport ni. 

Berlalu pergi sambil menyorong troli. Maka kami setel down kat sini je dulu. 

Janggel dan MasMZ dah siap-siap kuarkan segala charger dan aku pulak kuarkan extension. Nak charge segala sume barang-barang elektronik kepunyaan kami. Nasib baik ada pinjam netbook Lily Riani untuk kegunaan kami sepanjang di India. Dapatlah jugak MasMZ siapkan keje dia kat atas lantai airport ni. Gigih sambil duduk dalam sleepingbag. Dalam gambar kat atas tu, ade kain hijau kan? Tu adalah minah salleh dari Poland tengah syiokk tido. Tapi tak lena tapi tido-tido ayam jek. Kerusi kat area arrival hall ni sangat tak menarik. Keras dan sedikit. Plus, lantainya takde karpet. Maka agak sejuk kalo nak baring macam tu je. Tapi time ni macam kental jugaklah nak try tido airport gak. 

Tapi takpe...jom jejalan dulu pegi convenient store cari air minuman. Tengok-tengok kat rak coklat. Coklat Sneakers tak mahal ok kat sana dalam RM2.10 je untuk 1 bar tuh! Murah bangatttt...nyesal pulak tak beli untuk bekal kat India. Sumber tenaga tu. Dalam lebih kurang sejam lebih jugakla duk lepak kat situ. Aku lak taktau nak buat apa dah. MasMZ dengan netbook buat keje, Janggel dah sedap membuta atas kerusi keras tu. Tapi aku tau dia tak lena pun. Mata aku duk kedip-kedip sendiri tanda bosan. Hahaha. Sumpah mati kutu taktau nak buat apa dah... Tiba-tiba minah salleh tu terjaga. Sempat jugak borak dengan dia. Dia cakap dia dah 6 bulan kat India, and she said she hate India. Won't come back anymore. She had enough! Haaaa...macam tu sekali. Dia 6 bulan kot kat India. Aku ni dalam 8 hari je nak duk sini. We will see how ok. Hahaha. Dia ade gak mentioned, napa nak overnight kat airport, u can get cheap and good hostel around New Delhi. She suggested Smyle Inn near New Delhi Railway Station. Rate pernight dalam 900 rupees untuk 1 bilik. So, dalam 200 rupees je seorang or equal to RM14 je. Murah nak mampos tak? Kalo mahal, aku luku kepala sapa-sapa yang cakap mahal.

Time minah Poland ni bagitau cheap hostel ni, terus dalam kepala otak aku why not we go there? Lagipun, aku berani potong jari yang aku takkan dapat tido kat airport punyalah! Kalo mama aku tau, mesti dia tak suka. Napelah duk susahkan diri buat macam ni yakni tido kat airport. Bukannye takde duit...plus pegi ramai-ramai dapatlaaa tong-tong cost. Alhamdulillah.. Gigih cari internet connection. Tapi kat airport ni kene bayar. Hampeh sangat. Last-last guna roaming handphone MasMZ. Nasib baik dapat jumpa no telefon Smyle Inn tu. Terus call.alhamdulillah sekali lagi ade vacant. Terus pack barang-barang balik. Dalam hati dah berbunga. This is the way i travel. Napelah susah-susah nak susahkan diri? Hahaha. Whatever... i don't bother what people say to me. Pergi berambus!

Lepas dah setel, pegi beli prepaid cab untuk menuju ke Smyle Inn. Tambang yang dikenakan dalam 400 rupees untuk sebuah taxi. Hurm...taktau nak kata murah ke tak, since bahagi 3 orang. Boleh diconsiderkan sebagai murah. Lagipun bukannye dekat pun airport dengan kota Delhi. Agak jauh jugaklah.....so, we paid the fare. Keluar je dari pintu bangunan, udara sejuk menerpa. Nasib baik pakai sweater, so takdelah sejuk sangat. 

Ok...here we go!!! Maka bermulalah pengembaraan kami di bumi Kari bak kata Janggel. Hahaha. Kat India, we need to expect what is unexpected. Tapi dalam kepala otak aku ni, dah bagitau siap yang kat sini kotor, berdebu, busuk dan macam-macam lagi. So, takdela culture shock sangat. So, aku tak kisah.... Malam-malam pun jalan raya still busy lagi dengan bunyi-bunyi hon sesama mereka. Gambar kat bawah ni menunjukkan seorang peminta sedekah...

Dalam 20 minit perjalanan, maka tibalah kami di suatu kawasan yang agak sunyi di depan New Delhi Railway Station. Banyak anjing berkeliaran. Dalam benak berkata, betol ke kawasan sini? Ish..cuak melanda. Banyak kali jugakla driver taxi tu duk pusing-pusing kawasan sekeliling pastu tanya orang. Anjing kat sini besar-besar ok. Alhamdulillah...dapat jugak jumpa Smyle Inn. Rupanya tersorok dalam satu jalan yang kecik dah gelap! See!!! Expect the unexpected! Kat dalam lorong gelap pun ade hostel atau inn. Hahaha. Mula-mula suruh driver tu lalu jugak celah lorong kecik tu, tapi dia cakap tak boleh sebab tak muat. Last-last, turun la jugak berjalan masuk. Ek ela....bukannye jauh pun dalam 5 meter je. Hahah terus jumpa Smyle Inn.

Terus ketuk-ketuk pintu. Rupanya receptionist tido depan tv kat depan kaunter! Terkejut jugak...tapi muka cool je. Procedure check-in bermula. Kena kasik passport untuk discan pastu kena isi buku kitab yang agak tebal. Macam-macam la kena fill up katanya untuk our own safety. Layankan jela... Nampak keadaan sekeliling hotel agak bersih. Kira okla...tapi lokasi tak brape nak strategik sebab agak terperut dan kotor kat luar. Untuk breakfast kena tambah lagi 100 rupees seorang. Kiranya total seorang kena bayar ialah 300 rupees (RM21) Murah lagi tu...berkata Janggel. Ntah-ntah dia pun dah terkena badi anak jutawan seperti aku? Hahaha. Terima kasih Janggel and MasMZ sebab layan kerenah aku. 

Masuk bilik...not bad. Agak bersih... lepas dah setelkan perkara wajib. Maka membuta la kami untuk hari itu. What a day...

Assalamualaikum!!! 

Sori lambat skit untuk update pasal trip aku ke India. Biasalah aku anak manja, kalo tak sakit lepas balik travel memang tak sah. Tu siap terlantar MC 3 hari pastu hilang 10kg gara-gara cerah perut. Masuk ofis sume cakap wahhhh ko dah kurus! Bangga jap. *kembang hidung banyak kali* 

Ok dah jom aku mulakan... 

11 March 2012 Ahad

Hari ni aku bangun awal. Yela hari Ahad buat ape bangun awal kan. Hehehe. Hari ni flight aku menuju ke New Delhi jam 5.30 petang. So, aku plan nak gerak dengan Janggel dan MasMZ sekali. So, aku drive menuju ke rumah Mas untuk park kete kat situ. Tapi sebelum tu, aku singgah dulu kedai nak beli contact lens. Hahaha yela bila travel, we have to look good. So, kene la pakai lens so that boleh pakai cermin mata hitam. Baru hensem lebih. *Perasan tapi hakikat*. Lepas dah setel packing barang, aku memang agak memang agak beg aku mesti paling besar ok! Yela, segala baju mak nenek masuk sekali. Taktau nak kuarkan yang mana satu. Itulah masalah aku paling besar bila travel. Yakni nak bergaya je kejenye! Duhhhh~

Lebih kurang jam 12.30 tengah hari, keretaku meme cut laju menuju ke Puncak Jalil. Gigih ok! Walaupun pada hakikatnya boleh je naik skybus dari KL Sentral. Dalam perjalanan tu boleh pulak lupa nak tukar baki duit., Sebab ada hamba Allah ade pesan sesuatu dari sana., Plus, aritu aku tukar duit skit je. Lebih kurang jam 1.30 sampailah aku kat rumah MasMZ. Then, Janggel datang kutip kami untuk menuju ke ofisnya sebab nak park kete kat situ. Free je, Then, housemate Janggel datang kutip pulak. Dia tolong hantar ke LCCT. Alhamdulillah…selamat sampai. Dah macam stesen bas dah aku tengok LCCT ni. Punyelah ramai orang! Haishh…tak sabar nak tunggu KLIA2 siap. Yela, airport lagi besar dan canggih. Harap-harap takdela crowded macam yang sekarang ni. 

Sebab tak sempat nak lunch lagi, kami makan kat Taste of Asia tu. Ramai jugak orang, tapi managed to get a place to seat. Terus order. Aku beli nasi ayam, Janggel beli meehoon goreng dan MasMZ beli asam laksa. For me, the food was tasteless. Tawar hebe ok! Dahla harga mahal…bertabah jela. Lepas dah setel makan, terus pegi drop bag. Lupa nak bagitau, sebelum kami pegi makan, kami pegi timbang dulu semua beg nak tau brape total kilogram yang kami bawak. Ya ALLAH..nasib baik pegi timbang, rupenye memang tak cukup kilo kami beli aritu. Kami beli 25kg je. Tapi we all sume timbang beg, total ialah 30kg ok! Hahaha ntah apela kami bawak. Tapi aku laa especially. Dorang lagi 2 macam ringan je tengok. Kekeke. Since taknak bayar over the counter sebab lagi mahal, kami beli tambah lagi 5 kilo. Just bayar the price different. Kami beli kat AirAsia Sales counter. Dekat dengan pintu international departure hall.

Kemudian, pegi drop beg then masuk terus departure hall. Time ni hujan turun lebat giler ok! Aku just berharap nanti takde flight delay ke ape. Alhamdulillah kami berlepas dengan selamat jam 6.30 petang. Perbezaan waktu antara India dan Malaysia ialah India 2.5 jam lambar dari Malaysia. Kalo Malaysia jam 6 petang, kat India baru jam 3.30 petang. Macam tula lebih kurang sifirnya. 

Alhamdulillah….selamat mendarat di Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Indera Gandhi pada jam 10.55 (aku agak je sebab dah lupa, rasanya sampai 35 minit awal kot). So far, keluar dari perut pesawat hinggalah ke imigresen smooth sahaja. Dia punya airport lebih kurang Changi Airport dari segi hiasan karpet dan reka bentuk. Lebih kurang laa tak sama punye. Bak kata Biqque, dari gate sampai ke imigresen jauhhhhhhh sangat. Tapi bila aku rasa sendiri takdela jauh sangat. Normal la… Biqque drama sangat. LOL. Jangan marah naaaa…. Bila je nampak arca bentuk-bentuk tangan yang bermacam-macam jenis, maka dah sampai la tempat kaunter imigresen. Makkk aihhh!!! Ramai gileerrr ok orang beratur. Malam-malam pun still ramai orang. Hurm… Tak best sungguh nak beratur ni. Tapi beratur jela.

Gigihkan aku asyik duk update blog je memanjang. Janggel siap cakap aku overst giler! Tapi whateverlah. Hahaha. Baru je lepas balik dari melawat Fatehpur Sikri kat Agra ni. Dalam perjalanan pulang boleh pulak jem teruk nak mampos kan. Dah la naik bus murah...memang kene abes dengan trademark kami "anak jutawan memilih jalan susah" Muahaha. 

Tapi tak mengapa... Bila renung-renungkan kembali perjalanan kami di India, banyak yang telah pelajari. How lucky we are staying in Malaysia. Terasa sangat kerdil bila berada di sini sebab macam-macam benda tak terjangkau dek akal sebab kita tidak melihat perkara seteruk atau sepelik macam kat Malaysia. Kita sepatutnya bersyukur walaupun negara kita rasuah adalah tinggi tapi kat India lagi tinggi. That's why susah nak maju. Renungkanlah...

Hari ni dah hari Jumaat, subuh tadi dah sampai di Agra. Perjalanan keretapi adalah smooth dan selesa. Alhamdulillah...nampaknya perjalanan menaiki train diberkati. Since hari ni Jumaat, tak dapatlah nak melawat Taj Mahal sebab tutup. Kene carik alternative lain untuk sightseeing.

Stay kat Tourist Rest House. Overall, resthouse ni ok plus murah! Breakfast pun sedappp jangan lupa free wifi! Hahaha. Ok, sume orang kene cherry berry kat sini. Adeh ntah ape la salah kami., Terpaksa nampak kurus bila balik Malaysia nanti. Hahaha *overst*

Incredible India : We go on a study trip!

Assalamualaikum...

Takpe pape nak tulis lagi blog ni since hari ni hari ke-4 aku di India. Sekarang ni berada di Jaipur. Aku suka Jaipur plus terjumpa pulak tuk-tuk driver yang beragama Islam. Subhanaallah..baik yang amat! Siap jemput untuk pegi makan dinner lagi kat rumah dia lagi. Alhamdulillah....selepas satu incident yang terjadik kepada kami sewaktu menuju ke Jaipur dari New Delhi, Allah Taala balas dengan hikmah yang tak ternilai.....

Ni gambar sewaktu dalam Qutb Minar di New Delhi. Kecik-kecik dah dibawak untuk belajar sejarah. Bestnyaaa!!!! Mereka sangat comeyyyyyyyyyy!!!

p/s: Sekarang ni tengah beristirehat kat hotel dulu sebab nak tunggu waktu untuk pegi ke Tiger Fort nak tengok sunset. Jauh perjalanan kami...alhamdulillah...

Incredible India : Visa Application

Helllooo!!! 

Actually, I have a lot of stories to tell you regarding my upcoming trip. There were quite a lot of problems we faced in order for us to go to India this time. Maybe we need to endure the pain before we can the feel the sweetness of the trip. InsyaALLAH. I promised Lily Riani : The Globetrotter that I will blog about India visa application in England. Hahaha *overst* Hope you will be able to understand the procedures. Here you go....

1. You need to visit the nearest photo shop and take a visa pictures with white background. The size must be 2 inch x 2 inch. Cannot be more than that ok! The photographer would know how to make you look gorgeous or handsome. Like this! 

2. Before you proceed with filing up the application form, you need to remember that Government of India had imposed a regulation that all the applicant need to fill up the form via online before submitting the form the visa office near your place. What you need to do is... owh by the way, these are the steps for Malaysian.

a) Go to this link : http://www.indianhighcommission.com.my/service_new.php and you will see this page below: 

b) Then, after you clicked to the link, you will see this page below. 

3) Then later, you will be directed to the online form. There are quite a lot of details that you need to fill up. Make sure you read properly and key in the correct details as necessary. Don't rush. Hehehe. 

Be alert : For the passport no, PLEASE PUT THE ALPHABET IN FRONT OF YOUR PASSPORT NUMBER.  Example: A12345678. If you forgot to include this alphabet, your form will be straightaway rejected. Bear in mind!!!

4) After filled up the form completely, don't forget to check and read through again the form. For your information, you can always change or amend your form before you print it out and submit it to the visa office. And after you satisfied will all the details, please print out the form. 

5) Then, compile all the necessary documents together with the printed online visa application form. The documents that need to be attached together are as follow: 

1. Printed visa application form
2. Two (2) visa photos with white background (Size : 2 inch x 2 inch)
3. Drafted itinerary of your trip
4. Your passport (check the expiry date, make sure it's still valid for more than 6 months)
5. Visa payment amounting to RM168 per person

6) After you finished compiling all those documents, you can submit the form by yourself or appoint someone on behalf of you to submit to the visa office. For us, thank you very much to Cawan because willingly to submit the forms on behalf of us because we cannot manage the time with all the office works. Thank you very very much!!! 

7) Those who need to submit for more than 10 forms, please fill up this form before you submit the forms. This is the link http://www.indiavisa.com.my/application/travel_agency_form.php 

8) Later, submit the all those documents to the High Commission of India (Pejabat Kedutaan India). The addresses are below:

Cuci The Musical : Last Kopek!

Assalamualaikum!!! 

Takde pape nak update pun, saje nak bagitau yang semalam berkesempatan untuk menonton teater Cuci The Musical Last Kopek. Yela, kan musim kali ni adalah musim yang terakhir bagi teater Cuci, lepas ni takde dah. Menurut petikan kata-kata kat surat khabar. Aku tak berkesempatan untuk menonton Cuci musim pertama dan kedua. So, aku takleh nak expect apa-apa mengenaik teater Cuci ni. Since ramai yang duk kasik review baikkk punye untuk dua musim yang pertama. Maka why not untuk tengok je kali ni. Walaupun keadaan duit tidak sihat untuk dilaburkan.

Pada awalnya nak tengok weekend, tapi sebab masa tidak mengizinkan, kami booked hari rabu sebab ade seat best yang berharga RM106. Okla kot. Tengok teater memang kene labur skit. What to do. Kalo tidak....tak payah ler datang. Tapi bayaran tiket teater ni aku tak bayar lagi. Kawan aku swipedkan kredit kad beliau. Terima kasihhh! Nanti dapat gaji, aku bayar full ok!

Pada petang semalam, lebih kurang jam 5.30 petang terus chow dari ofis. Nasib baik boss aku takde masuk ofis semalam, dapat jugak blah awal. Kalo beliau ada, alamatnyaaa adela adhoc keje yang kene buat nanti. Alhamdulillah, trafik bergerak lancar. Tapi tengok cuaca mendung semacam jek. Jap lagi mesti hujan. Disebabkan lunch semalam aku hanya makan buah, perut aku asyik duk berbunyi jek mintak diisi. Maka, kami makan kat warung yang terdapat kat belakang Istana Budaya tu. Sany Char Kueh Tiaw kalo tak silap. Time ni tak ramai lagi sebab masih lagi awal. Just makan nasik putih, ayam paprik dan telur dadar je. My feverit! Hehehe. Not bad jugak rasanya. Pastu tetibe pulak, hujan lebat gilerrr!!! Nasib baik bawak payung, kalo tidak alamatnya tersadailah kami kat bawah warung tu. 

Lebih kurang pukul 8 malam, kami bergerak semula ke Istana Budaya walaupun hujan lebat. Kenela redah jugak sebab show bermula jam 8.30 malam. Solat maghrib dulu. Sembur perfume skit sebab baju berbau warung makanan. Busukkkkkkkk!!! Barulah ade class nak masuk istana ok! Hehehe. 

Bila dah masuk dalam hall tu, perghhh! We all memang buat keputusan bijak. Tempat duduk memang sangat-sangat strategik! Nampak semua benda. Tapi malam semala, show bermula agak lewat yakni jam 9 malam sebab ade masalah teknikal disebabkan petir hujan lebat tadi. Aku taktau lak yang esoknya masuk paper yang cakap KL banjir kilat! Huhu nasib baik kawasan Istana Budaya tak banjir. Selalunya kawasan tu hot spot untuk banjir kilat. 

Jam 9 malam, berkumandang suara Yasmin Yusuf membuka kata-kata alu-aluan disamping tu nyanyi lagu Negaraku dulu. Kemudian persembahan bermula....tadaaaa. Tapi dewan malam semalam tidak penuh pun. Maybe sebab weekdays pastu hari hujan lebat pulak tu. Hurm... Tepukan gemuruh di saat muzik bermula! 

Teater ni bagi aku sangat-sangat besttt!!! Kelakar then lawaknya sangat bersahaja ok! Ade yang main adlib je skripnya. Hahah...agak non-stop asyik duk gelak sakan. Okeh, dah banyak syaitan duk masuk dalam mulut. Kene cover-cover skit. Overall, jalan ceritanya masih mengekalkan macam dalam filem. Sekumpulan anak muda yang adik-beradik bercita-cita tinggin untuk mencuci bangunan yang tertinggi di Malaysia yakni Menara Berkembar Petronas (KLCC). Alaa...malas aku nak type panjang. Orang mesti dah tengokkan. 

Overall, para pelakon memberikan 110% komitmen dalam lakonan masing-masing. Hans Isaac sebagai Khai, Afdlin Shauki sebagai Fairil, Awie sebagai Jojo dan Nabil sebagai C'Tan. Manakala, Vanidah Imran sebagai Cik CJ, Dina Nazir sebagai Farah, Douglas Lim sebagai Wira, Harun Salim Bachik sebagai Tan Sri (aku dah lupa nama penuh). Persembahan mereka sangat kelakar ok!!! Dengan perangai Nabil sangat-sangat membuatkan orang tidak kering gusi duk tergelak terbahak-bahak. Para pelakon pun ade yang takleh nak kontrol keseriusan masing-masing. Ade yang tersasul pulak tuh! Hahaha. 

Overall lagi, tak sesia aku bayar mahal skit tapi puas hati. Kepada sesiapa yang belom berkesempatan, jangan lupa menonton di Istana Budaya. Teater ini akan berlangsung sampai 18 March 2012. Jangan lepaskan peluang anda ok!!!  Jomlah tengok gambar. Tapi sume gambar ni bukan aku punye. Kredit kepada Miss Google.

Shopping : What did I bring back from Singapore?

Helllooo peeps!

Nothing much to share with all of you. Just wanted to show you guys what did I bring back from my short trip to Singapore last February with Travelholics. I brought only SGD100 with me. After deducting SGD20 for the hostel, the only left is only about SGD50 coz i need to pay for the Ezilink card and some meals during the period. I managed to control myself not to buy anything in USS coz the price is quite expensive. Maybe next time... 

Let's take a look the fridge magnet that I have bought. I was so surprised that this time I saw a lot of interesting and cute fridge magnets to be collected! During my visit in 2009, there were only a few designs available. But this time, it was mind blowing! (Ok..so drama!). It's like I wanna buy all and don't want to give to anybody coz it's my treasure! Hahaha. Overst!

Anyone who's going to Singapore anytime soon, please watch out for this fridge magnet. It has a few more designs. If I'm not mistaken got 5 different designs! Sooo regret that I only bought only this design! Next time, I will collect all.... Hehehe. Check out Lily Riani : The Globetrotter coz she bought all five! Awesome!

Since I did not buy anything in USS, I was lucky to find this cute little fridge magnet in Chinatown. It's very cheap only SGD2/piece. All of us bought this magnet coz it has I love USS! Soooo cheapo ok! But i don't mind coz it has the word USS on it!

In 2009, which was my first experience in traveling with my friends on my own, I did pay a visit to Night Safari in Singapore. It was nice experience although we cannot take any pictures during the tour. Hurm....coz it might scare the animals. At the period of time also, I did think of collecting any fridge magnet that say Night Safari on it. But in 2012, I managed to get one for me. Hehehe.

In Singapore, it has their own Little India like we did in Malaysia. Since I did not manage to go to their Little India, i bought for myself only fridge magnet. Hurm...should get myself Chinatown fridge magnet also. The last piece was taken by Janggel. Huhuhu. 

I did buy for Icam one set of keychains and a bagtag. For his souvenirs to give away as well as the bagtag as for his inspiration to travel more like us one day. InsyaALLAH. Forgot to take a photo of it. And last but not least, i managed to buy a perfume. I my previous bottle already finished for almost 2 weeks. So, since the price in Singapore is cheaper than Malaysia, i bought the largest one which cost me around RM150. It's duty free as well. Hehehe. I've been using it for almost 2 years and I love it!

Accommodations in India

Hello!!!

This time I wanna share about accommodations in India for my trip which just around the corner. Sooo excited to visit the Incredible India! Maybe for some of people might say "why you guys wanna go travel to India?" Hurm... I don't know how to answer coz this is my first time though. Hahaha.

But from the reviews that I have heard from some of my friends, they said they loved India sooo much! Wanna repeat again the trip. Never get enough of it!

When you wanna visit India, you might want to consider a lot of things for example your accommodations. We should bear in our mind that India is not like Australia or New Zealand which that countries are totally different compared to India. India is like most of people said "dirty" and "beware of what you eat". So, basically I did a lot of research in surveying which hotel should my friends and I stay during our journey. I really meant hotel not hostel. We don't what any bad thing happen to us such as fall sick and other bad things. *fingers crossed* 

I discovered that staying in hotel in India is cheap! Hahaha...so, if you can get cheap hotel why bother to stay in hostel? Am I right? Maybe for some people, they might say it's expensive. But...if you divided the hotel cost with your friends, the amount just about about the same with the hostel rate. Plus, the environment is more comfortable and clean. I cannot afford to fall sick during my trip because of the dirty hostel room or the dirty water. If you want to take as a challenge, be my guest. 

I booked our hotels via Booking.com. Below is the list of hotels that I already booked. Please read the reviews before you proceed with the bookings. Please consider the pro and cons of the hotels. It's for your benefits. Hehehe

One more thing, maybe the pictures might say 1001 stories behind it. But, don't 100% believe what you see, it's India by the way. Hahaha

1. Ajanta Hotel, New Delhi

Conveniently located opposite Delhi Railway Station, Ajanta Hotel features a rooftop garden and 24-hour room service. It offers free pick-up from Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport, located 13 km away.

Ajanta’s air-conditioned rooms come with cable TV, a safety deposit box, and tea/coffee making amenities. Each room has a private bathroom with shower facilities.

The travel desk provides ticketing services, tour bookings, and car rentals. Other facilities include a business centre and a gift shop. Laundry services and 24-hour currency exchange are available.

The restaurant serves international dishes, including Indian, Chinese and Western choices. Meals can be enjoyed at the rooftop terrace.

Ajanta Hotel is 5 km from the Delhi Zoo. Connaught Place, Palika Park, and CP Metro Station are all just 1 km away.

The rate for 1 night for standard twin room for 2 pax is RM100. Isn't that cheap? For me, it's cheap plus it's near with major places that we wanted to visit. This is the way i travel. Duh~

2. Maya Niwas, Jaipur 

Maya Niwas overlooks the historic Hathroi Fort. Just 1 km from Jaipur Bus and Railway Station, it offers a rooftop terrace and 24-hour front desk. Rooms have flat-screen cable TVs.

Niwas Maya is 2.7 km from Albert Hall Museum. Jaipur Airport is approximately 13 km from the hotel.

Modern rooms at Niwas offer tea/coffee making facilities and a work desk. En suite bathrooms come with toiletries and hot/cold shower facilities.

Luggage storage facilities are available at the hotel’s 24-hour front desk. Sightseeing arrangements can be made at its tour desk. A laundry service is available.

An all-day local, Chinese and Western menu is available at the rooftop terrace and garden. For alternative dining options, room service is available.

The rate for executive double room for 2 pax is RM91, meaning RM45.50 per pax. Isn't that cheap? Hahaha. Since we are too rich to be considered. We opted for suite which cost us RM55 per pax. Hellloooo, we are talking about rich people traveling. Plus, we also wanted to try different things. People always thought me as a rich traveler. So, i just want to fulfill their imagination. That's all. 

3. Tourist Rest House, Agra 

Located in Agra, Tourist Rest House is 2.5 km from the famous Taj Mahal. It features free parking, an outdoor cafe and air-conditioned rooms with a cable TV.

Rest House Tourist is 2 km from Agra Cantt Railway Station and Idgah Bus Stand. It is 1.5 km from Red Fort and 5 km from Kheria Airport.

Fitted with a fan or air conditioning, cosy rooms come with wooden furnishings and have plenty of natural light. Included in each room are a work desk and private bathroom with a shower.

Set amidst a garden, the café serves a variety of local and international dishes. Room service is available upon request.

With a 24-hour front desk, the hotel provides airport shuttle services. Travel and sightseeing arrangements can be made at the tour desk.

During our stay in Agra, we opted for accommodation that is a little bit cheaper than hotel. Plus, this rest house received a lot of good reviews from the tourist. Why not this time we try this house. The rate for twin room for 2 pax is only RM36! That's super cheap man. What else do u want?  Plus this place is near to the infamous Taj Mahal!
