It's Perth! - Day 4 (Part 2)

Assalamualaikum!

Semalam sepatutnya aku nak sudahkan entry untuk Part 2 Day 4, tapi sebabkan aku ada jiwa kacau. 1 ayat pun tak keluar dari jari-jemari aku ni. Puas duk pikir ayat ape yang sesuai nak type. End up, aku buntu terus layan cite.

Tapi apa gunanya transport pree kalo taknak gunakan. Betol x? Dah la pree, efficient lak tu. So, kalo korang nak pegi Swan Bell Tower ni, just naik Blue CAT Bus.

Last year, AUD11 je...dah naik AUD2. Sob sob sob. Tapi jangan risau, kalo nak kene bayar murah dengan diskaun. Sila print kupon diskaun sebanyak AUD5 kat website Swan Bell Tower. Tapi baru je aku tengok balik dah takde kupon tu. Tapi, jangan risau lagi....kalo korang dah sampai kat sana, jangan lupa amek buku panduan Perth & Fremantle. Bukunya sebesar size buku 555 je. Kat dalam tu, ade kupon AUD5 off untuk entrance masuk tower ni. Selamat mencuba!

Sedikit sebanyak sejarah pasal Swan Bell Tower ni from Wikipedia:
"are a set of eighteen bells hanging in a specially built 82.5 metres (271 ft)-high copper and glass campanile in Perth, Western Australia. Taking their name from the Swan River, which their tower overlooks, and forming a sixteen-bell peal with two extra chromatic notes, they are one of the largest sets of change ringing bells in the world.
Twelve of the set are historic bells from St Martin-in-the-Fields church in Trafalgar Square in London; six others, cast in recent times by the Whitechapel Bell Foundry, round off the set. The St Martin-in-the-Fields bells were donated to the State of Western Australia as part of the 1988 Australian bicentenary celebrations; the additional bells were cast with a subsequent donation of metals mined in Western Australia. The six newer bells include five which were presented to the University of Western Australia, the City of Perth and to the people of Western Australia from the City of London, the City of Westminster and a consortium of British and Australian mining companies, and one bell commissioned by the Western Australian Government."

Lagi info bila waktu best nak melawat:

The Bells ringing times are as follows:
Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday: 12:30pm - 2pm.

There is also a Bells Handling Demonstration during the following times:
Monday, Tuesday, and Friday: 12pm - 2pm.

Lepas dah puas merayap atas tower tu, kami turun menuju ke padang yang luas terbentang kat depan Swan Bell Tower tu. Nak jalan-jalan menuju ke branch ofis aku kat sini. Boleh berangan laaa bila laaa aku nak transfer kat sini lak. Best wooo….tingkap mengadap Swan River.

Next destination lak, kami tak tau nak pegi mana. Since hari masih cerah dan kami plan nak tengok view siang dan malam from King’s Park. Boleh laa kalo nak window shopping, real shopping or just jalan-jalan je. Best untuk lepak-lepak.

Bila dah puas jalan-jalan kawasan sekeliling, next destination pulak ialah King’s Park. Orang cakap, kalo datang Perth, memang tak sah kalo tak datang King’s Park. View dari atas King’s Park ni memang superb cantikk!!! Kawasan tumpuan orang ramai. Even, kawasan sekeliling pun sangat cantik.

The view was breathtaking! Terduduk atas rumput yang di trim elok. Sambil baring…memang layan abes! Agak sedikit berangin. Tapi takpe, janji best. By the way, King's Park ni pun aku dengar jugak cerita yang malam-malam akan jadik Kiss Park. Sebab tumpuan kapel datang duk berasmaradana kat sini...sebab port paling syiokkkk skalik. Tapi sayang, takde lak aku nampak kapel-kapel berkiss-kiss kat sini. Melepas!

Sedikit info pasal King's Park ni, ehsan dari Wikipedia:

"Kings Park is a 4.06-square-kilometre (1,003-acre) park located on the western edge of Perth, Western Australia central business district. The park is a mixture of grassed parkland, botanical gardens and natural bushland on Mount Eliza with two thirds of the grounds conserved as native bushland. With panoramic views of the Swan River and Darling Range, it is home to over 300 native plant varieties and 80 bird species. It overlooks the city as well as Perth Water and Melville Water on the Swan River."

"In 1872 it became the first park to be designated for public use in Australia. It is the largest inner city park in the world[1] and the most popular visitor destination in Western Australia, being visited by over five million people each year.[2] The park is larger than New York's Central Park which is 3.41 km²."

"Besides tourist facilities Kings Park contains the State War Memorial, the Royal Kings Park Tennis club and a reservoir. The streets are tree lined with individual plaques dedicated by family members to Western Australian service men and women who died in World War I and World War II."

Memang gelap abes laa….turun slow-slow takut tergolek atas tangga. Kuikuikui… Tunggu Blue CAT, terus menuju ke hostel. Balik mandi dan dinner kat hostel. Megi goreng je…tapi sedappp…thanks tukang masak special dari Malaysia!

Till then.....bye~

ko nape sedih2 ni? remember ppl will always find ways to bring u down, but u must not show your grief coz it will make them happy. let alone the feeling and slowly deal with it. everyone deserve to be happy, so do u. cheer up bro! take care
